The New Season Begins

Finally it is here! The 2011/2012 season will be starting so it is time to pick up your racket again!

Unfortunately, owing to increased court fees and a reduced adult membership the club has had to increase its fees for this year.

Juniors on the way up!

A big congratulations to our Junior team, who played in the Cambs Badminton Academy tournament this weekend and on the basis of their results our teams have been placed into Division 1 and Division 2 for this season. Well done!

Sawtry Badminton Club is a medium sized, popular and social/competitive badminton club based at Oneleisure Sawtry, Cambridgeshire.

  • Clubnights are three courts on Wednesday nights 8:00pm-10:00pm

  • Home match nights are played generally on Fridays

  • All clubnights and matches are played with plastic Yonex shuttles

    • The badminton season runs from around the start of September to the end of April/May each year - the club does not run in the off-season, but some members do book courts if you are interested to carry on playing!
